NIL8 over TAU
we had the pleasure of playing the Texas Area Untouchables tonight. ahhh cz2 is one of my favorite TFC maps. what's not to love, besides straight-up dm? anyway, NIL8 is finally beginning to look positive, as we pull off a win here and begin our winning streak of 2 games.
rd1 was played on our server, with no HLTV because my clan is full of HLTV-challenged people. pings were pretty good, but there were lots of spikes. our server just recently relocated and it's pretty terrible now. so yeah, the scores were very close for a while until they pulled out an all-cap under us. however we managed to creep back into the game and ended up pulling off a squeaker. 122-118 NIL8.
rd2 was played on TAU's server and our pings were.... uh, hideous. the average ping for NIL8 was 150+ so it made things interesting. well at leaset their server was consistantly bad, whereas ours was good but spiked a few times. we came into this round knowing what we had to do, and we executed "Operation NIL8ation." needless to say TAU gave us a run for our money, but we had a more comfortable lead rd2, ending in 131-166, in NIL8's favor.
gg TAU! pardon our mm1s but other than that I think we had a clean game. I look forward to more games in the future ;)
