GOO over FOoM
Well, how many times have we played FOoM now? Close to 50 I think. Either way, we faced off against them tonight on everyone's favorite map, cockzone2.
Round 1 we head to FOoM's server. My ping was crazy all night, and it definitely didn't help with where their server was. Both teams had a few high pingers, but we got it under way regardless. Both teams set up some nice D on the points, and the scouts go to work. GOO had some of our good O guys running flags, which resulted in a few all-caps for the GOOies. Our D held strong, but although FOoM came close a couple times, they weren't able to grab that last point in this round. Rd1 ends in favor of GOO, 263-75. Intermission ensues, and GOO decides to switch it up a bit for round 2 as we head to Hog8. Pings are much better for each team here, and the second round gets going. Our little switch from D - O and vice versa doesn't work too well, and FOoM holds the lead with an all-cap for most of the round. We switch back to our regular positions, and after holding the flags for a few minutes, we score an all-cap to go up. As the round closes, FOoM kicks our ass with one more all-cap to win round 2, 150-147.
Final score, GOO over FOoM 410-225. GG to FOoM, always a blast playing such a fine team.
