Writeup:

IOD over DTK

First of all, many thanks to DTK for being patient with us while we scrambled together a shoddy roster at the last minute (as usual), and for playing a great game. I don't have time to do a lengthy, full-detail writeup, so I'm keeping it short and to the point.

Round 1:
Crazed action everywhere, as would be expected when playing Torch. We ended up gaining a good lead but DTK still kept coming strong. Despite not having a linuep and me having to assign positions in the last minute or two of prematch, we somehow came out victorious. Special mention to Meeks who didn't know we're supposed to take the flag to THEIR base. He eventually figured it out anyway. Oh, and also to that one DTK guy who kept dropping. Hope you get that fixed soon :(

Round 2:
Pumped from R1, we decided not to mess with the roster and just play as-is. For a while it didn't seem like a good idea because DTK gained an early lead. Or it could have been Shank's hideous singing in pm that screwed us all up. Either way, we took a little time to get back into the swing of things. We eventually gained a nice lead. I hear Molly tore it up on O, but I wasn't on O, so I can't say for sure. My crappy Voodoo3 couldn't handle the carnage, so I was playing in slideshow mode most of the round, rendering me useless; more than usual. DTK had some nice capping action going for a while which got us nervous, but we somehow managed to win again. (I'm more surprised we had enough to fill a roster this week)

At any rate, it was a good game and good effort on both teams. Yay torch.

(and yes I am aware this wasn't exactly short or to the point)
