I believe when 2 teams agree to no yard D before the match, it means the D doesn't shoot the enemy O in the yard.

Yard D of any kind is pretty much frowned upon in STA. But why would anyone run a friggin heavy at the front door and throw MIRV's at the bridge on this map?

well the guy at the front door had over 60 kills & basicly stopped their O in 2nd round. only way the got it flag was water. they played us tough. so gg to them & i am sorry about confusion.
big dawg i ask a admin from STA about yard D. he told me up to captains & how yard D is defined is up to them also. so explain to me how come they frown on it?
well we understood that as long as D is in base it can shoot outside the base ie into teh yard. how in the hell is that yard D if the D is in base? heh he got conced out once or twice.
hmm new team to sta. we agree to no yard D. from leagues (& that includes some former STA guys & current 5v5 guys) our players played in yard D to us has been stay in base & you are fine. shoot in the yard all ya want. so ya blame us but take if from our point of view. nothing personal.
next match we will make sure to clarify what the other team think is yard D & what they think is not.

The yard D thing is frowned upon by many of the 'teams/players' (as opposed to STA itself) - I don't think it's against the rules. You'll find that some teams have lots of 'unwritten' rules and if you try to do anything outside of the same-old same-old, you'll get flak from some people.

Uh if you can't conc past or kill it then why bother bitching? Geez all you did was avoid me all the time anyhow. Not my fault you can't get past a heavy. You do what works..and obviously that worked considering you capped 3 times in the first round then I went there and you went nowhere. I'm sure other teams won't have a problem with it because there offence doesn't have to go engie and build teleporters =) yeah don't think I didn't hear it..complain if you play right is bad..but using teleporters and still complaining because you got raped is even worse.

i have nothing against 30+ and i have always looked to them as a very respectful and mature team, and i still do, but i dont think yard D should be a concern in this game. why do you think its practically dead now?
