KoR over BD
It was a bittersweet night for the clan once referred to as the Pissed-off Knights by predictors, towit the Knights of Rage, because as of a couple of weeks ago we had decided that we would retire clan KoR at the end of the current TFL season. We were honored tonight to share the field of play with one of our longest-term greatest friendly clans, the Brothers Disgruntled. Sharp-eyed KoR-watchers would notice that the first match listed for KoR in 1999 was versus the Brothers, though the KoR insiders know that the BD match wasn't our first.
So the match started with KoR down one man on our home server, but soon after the match started Chronic arrived so teams were even. Throughout Round 1 BD won the day as far as holding the middle, but KoR was fortunate to capture a couple of scrummages, which left KoR ahead 145-123 at round's end.
Round two was more solidly KoR's with KoR holding the advantage in Scrums with 1 and also holding the overall advantage. This round ended 188-89 KoR.
Overall the match ended 333-212 in KoR's favor and that's the bittersweet part. We all felt that KoR had run its course, and many needed a long vacation from tfc, but we all wanted to win in our swan song. KoR is becoming a guild now, so the tag will still be around, but while we may resurrect the clan for HL2 TFC, we probably won't be back under KoR for TFC.
