[RoC] over nLv

RoC vs nLV

Round 1

Another week of Enclave had us hopeful as we have a good record on this map, but we knew from experience that nLV was gonna be a tough match to win for a Title Shot-- even on a map we are comfy on. The RoC O struck first round one and built a small lead with one pointers-- nLV was keeping in striking range the whole time. nLV started to edge back into it until the RoC O responded with a base entry. About that time, RoC started having their runners take turns getting disconnected from the server. :0 Props to the RoC D for holding solid until their O could get the drops under control. RoC managed to sneak a few into the base late in the round to build a comfy lead for themselves. Both teams had their share of non-counting yard points with that new-found Enclave bug, but we learned our lessons fast. Round ended 41-16 in RoC's favor.

Round 2
This round had no dropping players, and nLV struck first and started building a lead that made us nervous on the red team. From what D says, they managed to get a few into the base this round, while RoC may have gotten one into theirs, at most. On the other side, nLV's D started holding that flag in the yard on us this time, and it was paying off intially. But RoC's D began settling in with some determination to grab a title match, and they held tight while's RoC's offense started to pull off yard point after yard point until the match was tied about halfway through--they were very tough yard points to get against the determined nLV D! It got intense after that with both teams fighting it out for all they had. Snipers, mid-map mirvs and spy-pills, tunnels going up and down, even pyros made some appearances. It was truly a wonderful TFC spectacle. Both defenses stepped up this round with some serious determination, and the scores were lower on both sides. But the da!
y was RoC's as they managed to pull away once more near the end, and the round ended 29-12 in RoC's favor.

Round 1: 41-16 RoC
Round 2: 29-12 RoC
Match: 70-28 RoC

A very good game nLV- truly some of the most fun I've had for a long time, and we've had some really fun matches lately. The rounds were very clean, and that's a feat considering this was a Title Shot between two teams that wanted to win. As a further testament to good sportsmanship, there was quite a bit of friendly chat going on the whole match-- lots of "nice" and "ty" and "lol" from both sides. It reminded me of TFC matches of old where fun was the ultimate purpose. Thanks and GG nLV! We look forward to playing you guys again.

A very good game nLV. But wtf happened to the writeup? Some of the text obviously got garbled when Konspiracy got it, as it reads much easier the way it was actually written. For a more accurate copy of the write-up, you can always check it at RoC's website (realmofchaos.org).

despite the funky, yet entertaining writeup.... vgg RoC :) It's easy to see why this is one of your best maps, because you totally worked us on both sides of the map. Your HW's particularly got a few "omg, their HW's are TOO good!" and a lot of Dasyati yelling over voice comms :) It's a shame you can't play this one next time too, because you'd have the title in no time Enjoy the break, and gl on the title match RoC! GG!
