Wow what a matchup... we have met up with the cool folx at 46&2 before and it was intense. It looks like that is just the way it will be when these two clans meet. This was one for the best games to remember list for sure.
Rnd1 kicked off with only one restart (our fault, heh), gj folx! Prematch ends with at least one telefrag on our side. Scout rushes came a rollin in for both sides, SoL got a touch or two out of that. From that point on, it was touch after touch on both sides as flags moved ever so slowly out the doors. SoL managed to creep ahead this round by 3 caps in the end.
Rnd2 was no less intense and no more predictable, this was anyones match and as we moved into the round, the same fate awaited both defenses. Intense offenses pushing hard for the title flags. The same stream of action was seen on both sides, but this time, 46&2 ended up with the 3 cap lead to take us into OT.
Overtime on a title match, does it get much better than that?! It seems we always end up with an OT match when we have title matches, hehe. We are probably about 50-50 so we were not taking this one lightly and we knew 46&2 was as hungry as we were. Match starts and scout rushes ensue. 46&2 cranks the ele before SoL as both teams continue to get touches. 46&2 had our flag to the short hall when I heard the music of our O bringing in the tiebreaker.
This match was exactly what everyone expected... it was intense and it was a close matchup. I think everyone had fun tonight, it was a good clean match. GGs to 46&2!
