Thanks to steam being completely lame the round started a bit late, gg steam. Going into this match we knew to expect great things playing against one our favorite opponents in FOoM. This round was incredible with multiple touches and returns from the FOoM O who really made some great adjustments. Other than the level of intensity there's not a whole lot to say about the round. It ended in a 0-0 draw.

This round was flat out awesome. We figured whomever got the first cap was going to win the match. In between the round RebbeL made a promise to us all. Half way through the round RebbeL did just like he said he would and managed to pull what we thought was going to be the game winning cap. 15 minutes remained NULL up 10-0 and FOoM somehow shattered our D getting multiple laser down relays which resulted in numerous touches and eventually the tying cap. We tried to keep our focus and held strong for the remainder of the round but FOoM got a flag out in the final seconds ? they conced across the map and were climbing into the window of their base but didn?t have time to cap it!

This round was probably the most intense, nerve racking and enjoyable TFC I've ever had the privilege to play. Our O was getting completely shut down by the monolith type setup from FOoM. We were sure the round was all but lost numerous times as the FOoM O had moved our flag to the main room/T area 3 separate times. We managed to return all 3 flags. With how strong the FOoM D was we knew we may only get 1 shot at this thing so we took a very big risk and decided if/when the FOoM lasers went down we were going to rush them with 2 of our D guys. The lasers went down with about 13 minutes left in the overtime round and CrackBRain aka Padre made his rush as engy and I followed him (Chase) as O demo. Our rush fell short getting stopped in the main room with no access to the flag room. We both reset and held our normal defensive positions. The FOoM lasers went back up and 10 seconds later we managed to get them down again and we pushed with everything we had leaving a skeleton cre!
w (2 men) to hold the D side of things. Glacier rushed as O hwguy to draw the sg fire, I threw a mirv up to get the sg and then took down the hwguy. RebbeL with perfect timing flew into the flag room and stole the flag as scout for a coast to coast game-winning cap. Our team overjoyed on both O and D Ventrilo channels. GG's were exchanme to cap it!

*Notable mention to Glacier for changing to hwguy when the lasers dropped and he wanted to thank the FOoM O for not potshotting him when they saw the change.
*CrackBRain aka Padre got 3 wrench kills in overtime alone and had 6 over the 3 round match.
*To FOoM, for being a classy incredible team whom we love to play and can't wait to play again.
*RebbeL our fearless O leader who pulled not 1 but both caps including the game winner.

Very fun match [FOoM] it was a white knuckler all the way to the end.
You guys had me workin hard several times in the double ramps and someone even got a CB on me cause I did not have time to get anykind of resup.

The first round Null wasnt able to get our security down at all. That made me a bit overconfident of our D. So I made a few O runs as engy when our O guys had teh Null flag moving. But both times Null capped came when their spy got button while I was gone.
One of the few matches I can say definetly was lost on my mistake - hope my guys dont fire me ;)
Anyway very good game null.
