mH over TTK

Had time to run about 30 minutes of practice before the match, which was a nice change from last week's rush job. Had a stomach ache, and for some inexplicable reason my I was pinging like shit to everywhere on what is usually good cable, so I sat first round.

After some initial chaos, the mH defense settled in pretty well and even returned a flag from the battlements round 1. The offense capped 5 times, lead by Scorcher who coast-to-coasted 3 himself. The neuri/Kur combo owned spiral, and mH took the round 50-20.

I ended up having to play this round, with Scorcher benching himself because he had "stuff to do", and Sofa, subbed out for xero, who didn't want to play offense. Things started out dubiouisly, with TTK touching several times before we did, but about 3 minutes in, with our flag to our ramp room, I conced the flag to the pack and got it to the ramp room. Within seconds both flags were in the yard, and in very real danger of being pitted. mH quickly retrieved and capped the TTK flag, and TTK pitted ours (yay). Alas, I was unable to replicate Scorcher's performance, capping no times and only pulling two flags to pack and one to spiral, and we did not cap again for the duration. With 5 minutes left, TTK was up 40-15, 5 points from a tie, and one cap from a win. I dropped back to play soldier front door in those final minutes, sacrificing the TTK flag we had pulled to the pack, and we held until the clock ran to 0. TTK took the round 40-15, mH wins the match 65-60.

mH.NineInch's writeup: mH played against TTK tonight in the sound and fury of a 2fort clone called ss_nyx_l. mH themed up as usual (cept for sen and scorch) as prime numbers. mH wins r1 5-2.
