p over GOM
Well this matchup was a strange one since we played GOM on run last week, and now we got to play them again on Well. Well is a cool map, cause its classic and we get to use 2 front door soldiers.
Rd1 we had a nice normal d setup of 2 front door sollys, 1 water hw, 1 soldier fr, and 1 engy fr. Our o was standard 4 medics, and on the opening scout rush, they brought home a cap, and i was all like wow that was fast. On a side note about this match, both me(Auto Guns), TheWay and Macgyver(who played as riverhorse in the match) were all in the same room having a lan. So rd1 our d is holding nice and solid and not lettin them get thru. I think GOM was using only 3 o, and at times 4 o, because they only had 8 players for the whole match. So our o pwns it up and our d nicely lets them get only 1 cap.
Now rd2 is where this match take a paradox turn. Basicly after rd1 was over, i asked TheWay and mac if we wanted to run a fun d strat. So we came up with 9 engy strat. Yes we know its a little lame but it my teamates said they were having the most fun match ever. So like we had a set d, of just 4 engys, and 5 o engys. But everyone had sg's up in different spots. For a while we were just dm'ing and having a gay ole time, until i made an o run. I slipped in their front door, and made it into their right respawn and took that water path too the flag room. After i railgunned their sg, i grabbed the flag and ran it out attic and it was thrown into the yard. I think we were all shocked that we were able to cap with an only engineer offense. Basicly after that all hell broke loose and our engys started slippin in the GOM flag room alot and making teleporters in every nook and cranny. Many a time was had where we had 5 guys in their flag room killing stuff. Rd2 ends with us pulling out 10 caps as engys and not lettin them cap, but i must add they had 2 people drop during the game due to various reasons.

This match started off normal, just like all of our matches do. Me and Auto were doing pretty well at front door, and strife prevented them from blowing the grate for a good 5 minutes. Nothing cool really happened, cept I (TheWay) got a crowbar kill, which is really crazy cuz I don?t even go for crowbars ever. So anyways, it started to get a bit lame, with their o spamming lots of mirvs and emps, so me and auto played a bunch Round 2, we decided to be all engys. That?s right, 9 engys. I normally wouldn?t have gone along with this but I had a bit of a score to settle with a certain GOM member, and decided llamaing it up would be ok. So they didn?t cap on our super 9 engy d, and we got like 8. Pretty impressive for a bunch of engys.

im at autos house right now along with theway, we were all chillin and what not. so in the match offense was all attacking gom like crazy. I GOT THE SCOUT RUSH CAP!!! (went in frontdoor, got flag from fr, and got back out, lemme tell you....it was hella tight). uh so like dfense was lazy and let a cap out, so i yelled at aaron and josh...fucking assholes. uhhmmm we was all doing good, that frontdoor `DD guy kept raping me, it was fun. welll round ends 140-10 i think. justin didnt play at all because hes a little girl, not that little girls are bad, but when you look like a boy, but are really a little girl....thats bad. WHOAAAA rounddddd 2. auto and josh and ME was all like lets all play engineer and build 9 sgs in our base cuz i guess there is no turtleing rule for TFL. well it turned out to be a quite fun round, we got like 6 teleporters in their base at once, at one point i flucking got an sg in THEIR capture point, it was neat. so we were all giggleing and havin a good time, we gots sum caps out too. rdends 100-0. after that we went into #clangom, we said gg, but gom didnt feel so happy and banned us all :-( oh well GG anyhows!!!!

Overall GG to GOM, soz about the all engys, and it kinda sux to have to play our gay clan twice in a row, GG GOM plz dont hate us too much

Glad you could have fun at someone elses expense. We played short the whole match and put up with pyro spam on our spawns, demo spam from the attic to the spawn, engy spam from the attic as well as an sg and this was only round 1. A true llama fest and then we had to play round 2 vs the 9 engy D. GG p Too bad it really didn't help build your self esteem.
We should have taken the bye as a few of our players don't know we have forums and didn't show up, then Beez schedules us for the second week vs the same clan vgg Beez. All around TFL gayness

GOM had a tough night being short and having to face uber-llama-engi-fest. But even so, I STILL think that they had more fun randomly shooting a bunch of engies that in we had played normally (since they were down, it wouldn't have been easy nor fun IMO). GG GOM, remember blame auto.

Last night, me auto and mac were all lanning. Auto suggested a 9 engy strat, and normally i would have been the voice of reason and not allowed it to happen, cuz im totally against llamaing. But hustlerone apparently felt the need to make a cheap shot against me in the prediction thread. So basically, GOM, you can blame that whole lameness on hustlerone. Maybe he should learn to keep his mouth shut?
PS- I think youre wrong with the pyro and demo spam from the attick, and i know youre wrong with the sg in the attick rd1. We played a clean rd1, and didnt get even mildly lame till rd2. In fact, you guys were using an o engy and o demo rd1, with all the delicious spam.

I dont see why GOM is so upset, had we run a normal 5 defense and 4 offense strat we would have slaughtered GOM score wise. It would have been like 600-0 in rd2, but yet GOM thinks that would have been more fun... next time show up with a full team and it will be fun, dont blame us for simply trying to turn a match that is clearing going to be stupid to play into a match that we would enjoy. Our FIRST match in TFL we played against K}{R and right out of the gate ya'll ran an o demo that spammed our respawn at front door, effectively killing or injuring most of our O. We had no plans on running any type of respawn spam, but we figured since yall ran it we'll run an o demo too. YOUR team started the lameness, we just returned the favor. If you don't believe me the demos are floating around so you can see how KHR instigated llamaness (not counting the potshotting spy). GOM played fair and truthfully didn't deserve llama play; you started it then complain about it later?

Balinwhore, where were you when this match actually happened? Talk about choosing a wierd time to bring it up. Did you need the multiple people to help you build the confidence to complain? And speaking as a player on d that match, i can guarantee that it was youre team that sparked the spam, because once our o started getting continually killed outside and inside of their own spawn, we (the d players) told them to go ahead and return the favor.

Actually I don't think TheWay hacked back then, I watched the demo and effectively brought up several of the arguements the admins used to delete the ban on him. (I had connections with STA admins back in the day...Cuz I was in a clan with one...lol). But uhh, Hust bans ME from our chan when we lose sometimes, so don't take it too seriously.
Fourtunately for -p- I wasn't there to own you with my leet 14.7 fps. Lucky.
