BD over TD
Round 1, The Disgruntled server: Starts off like everyone expects on this map. It was not till a few mins into the game that teams started to get into rythems. BD was able to get flag movement many times but had only 1 cap for the effort. Atleast 2, if not 3, were lost to TD's strong Defensive hold between the spawns and front door. Mean while TD was have'n fewer pulls but more movement per pull. Withing ten mins left in the round teams were tied 20-20. Then BD lucked up with getting the flag out of the base. It was still a hard fight to capture. Once again luck played its hand when one of the medics was knocked into the flag by an enemy rocket.
Within a min after the capture BD managed to catch the TD Defense unset and worked another flag from the base. Mean while back in the other base TD's offense was in the mist of a strong pull leading both teams towards the middle. Trying to cross the map you could see the carnage of bodies flying (with and without conc's) nades going off everywhere.
Somehow BD managed to bring this flag homealso, but time ran out for TD. GG
Round 1 40-20 BD
Round 2, the home of TD: Round two started with adjustments by both teams. The BD defense made a few initial adjustments in lineup while TD changed to a stronger forward Defense guarding the 2 entrances. A VERY frustrating Defense I might add! (MUCHO carnage outside) This time around BD had fewer touches, frankly we had difficulty seeing the inside of base at times.
Just before those of us on Offese were ready to give up hope, Money4Nothing pulled the flag and sparked life back into the cause. I can't remember if we managed this one home, but by the end of the match we only had 1 capture. TD seemed to have equal troubles throughout this round and also managed 1 capture.
