Tonight RES matched up with Grumpy Old Men in TFL 3A on ye old well. Being the new guy I'm stuck doing the writeup...making me a grumpy old man.
Round 1 was on their server where they grabbed the first cap. Our O managed to answer rather quickly and the race was on. It was neck and neck until about mid point when we made a little defensive adjustment that allowed us to build a 2 to 3 cap cushion. The O just kept chugging along and the round ended up 8-5 in our favor.
Round 2 moved to the RES arena and after a few substitutions we got started. This time the defense started off very well and the O was cooking. We built up an early lead and the Grumpy Old Men really started coming at us on D. We had quite the little party going at the front door of our base. Score ended up being 12-3.
