mH over -NULL-
Well, STA somehow managed to schedule us against a clan that had been dead for a week or so this week, so I decided to take it upon myself to seek out an opponent for tonight. I noticed NULL had a bye in Gold, so I talked to them about playing. We agreed to play oppose2k1 instead of nasty old vidars.
Lot of people showed up for tonight's match, which was a nice change of pace, and jackol played his first match with us for probably over a year. Round 1 was played on mH's Anger Management, and started off slow with neither team touching for a few minutes. Eventually the mH offense got some movement, and eventually capped. All in all it was a pretty slow round. I played long hall soldier and generally sucked, but I had fun anyway. mH took the round 30-20.
Second round was faster. I decided to switch up the defense by playing fatty in the ramp room, switching Kur to my soldier position. On offense we went with the more active lineup of Senaka/DaS/Scorcher/NineInch. For awhile our defense held fast while our offense kept NULL on their toes, but about midway through they started to crack us. We were up 1-2 caps for most of the match, returning one from the ramp room, and almost returning one from the bridge. That hold was fun as hell. We ended up winning the round 50-30.
After the match I discovered that there had been some misunderstandings between us and NULL about what was acceptable as far as gameplay went, and that some in NULL felt they had been cheated out of a fun match. We talked it out and came to an understanding, but I just wanted to tack this onto the writeup that we're sorry for anyone who feels sore about the match, and that next time we play we'll make it fun for both sides. Different playing environments, different standards, guess this shit just happens sometimes. Sorry guys.

Hehe, good game to mH they definetly were the better team tonight. As for the gameplay comments we're just not very used to seeing those kinds of tactics but we're glad the match was as close and competitive as it was. It was definetly a learning exp :) Good luck in your future matches.
