nLv over THOA

Tonight nLv welcomed back NF, who hated the smell of my armpits, but came back as soon as he heard I had started buying deoderant.

Rd1 I had the pleasure of being benched for our leet offense (wait, aren't I the O captain though? who benched me?!), so off to HLTV I went. Things were pretty even for much of the round, with no clan ever in the lead by much more than 10, if that, until... WHAM BAM, nLv comes out with an all-capper and takes a hefty lead. ken and nokio held tight and spammed their pretty little asses off in the far points, while don and sub were equally sexy, but much cooler in the closer point. Our resident HW sponge, played a valiant match, along with newcomer daemon, wreaking havoc on the middle CP. Meanwhile our O was keeping up, and occasionally taking the lead on the THOA team and finally their efforts paid off with an all cap. Suddenly, sub's connection dies, and low and behold, RAGE IS CALLED FORTH. I rush in and take sub's spot and sol it up for the remaining 10-15 minutes of the round. Despite never playing soldier, and despite generally sucking at everything I do, don sti!
ll made me look good, and we held down the fort pretty well. Rd1 ends 149-100, nLv.

Rd2 sub needs sleepy time, and nokio dies or something, so in comes newcomer elwood to play for nokio, and me for sub (bad move!). We slowly pile into nLv's server, which for some reason decides not to allow itself to be displayed in the Steam Server Browser o_o

Finally rd2 gets underway. It goes very similar to rd1, though this time THOA seems to be putting more pressure on our close point, sending all sorts of trouble our way. Eventually the pressure pays off for them, and THOA sneaks in an all-cap and closes the gap considerably. BUT THEN! I turn on my HPB hacks and start firing rockets into my own feet, and holding grenades for too long, and no doubt THOA was laughing too hard at my suckiness to realize that nLv just capped all the points too! The hefty lead is taken back.
Sponge drops for a minute or two, scaring the bejesus out of me, since I am nothing without my spongey. He returns after THOA gets an all-cap (I think??? I wasn't paying attention), and we resume. Rd2 comes close to breaking even for THOA, but nLv valiantly pulls through and takes the lead for rd2 in the end as well.

The great thing about cz2 is that there really isn't much anyone can complain about. Potshots are totally cool. Chasing is expected. O and D are practically undefined. It's just fantasmagorical no matter what :) THOA played a clean and fun match, and successfully remindedtime, and nokio dies or something, so in comes newcomer elwood to play for nokio, and me for sub (bad move!).
