Writeup:

nLv over SIN

Another week, another clan with the most awesome Texas server in the world! :D
Here's hoping in advance that STA's form doesn't de_stroy my writeup again :P

Round1
------
At 9:45 EST, after 15 minutes of dead-air in the SIN channel, we finally figure out what their server is and head in. The late start doesn't matter, because their server rocks :) The polite folks at SIN decided to agree not to use water Teles which was very cool of them and provided for a very clean and fun rd1. Things got off to a start somewhat slowly. The nLv D held very tight, while the nLv O took a bit to start moving flags... but soon enough, they were flowing like semen out of ken's mouth :o nLv O kept some constant pressure on the SIN D, forcing a few change-ups in their strat; some working a bit better than the others. Their T defense kept us at bay, but with so many ways around that Sol, it just wasn't enough. nLv keeps pounding away, only letting a couple very well defended ones return on us. In the last 5 minutes or so, the SIN Offense got a second wind and pulled a quickie out from under our D's noses. Shortly after they brought yet another. With the!
round coming to an end, I think they may have gotten a third on moving, but I can't remember :o Either way, a very clean and fun rd1.

Rd1 Offense: metallix, nf, rage, dasyati
Rd1 Defense: sponge, ken, berserker, daemon
Score: 140-20

Round 2
-------
Having agreed to stay in their sexy server, we head back in, making a few lineup changes here and there (sort of). Rd2 started off with a bang. nLv O got a quick touch, but I don't recall if that one came home or not. Come to think of it... did we even get a touch? Geez, I don't remember now :o For the sake of sounding cool, let's just say I got a coast to coast cap with full health. Rd2 the nLv O saw a beefed up SIN FR Defense, which varied a bit from time to time, but left us with 3 heavies to try to plow through on our way to the flag. Offered for some good spy opportunities, but I wasn't paying enough attention to our spy's progress to see how well it worked. We ran an O engy for a few runs to clear out the tightly cramped D, and for a short while it worked. The SIN defense ended up settling down a bit here and there, with a several stretches of time with zero movement on our end. From the looks of it, their front door Soldier was lagged the entire time, so th!
at didn't help, I'm sure. The O kept flags coming, not as quickly as rd1, but they were still coming. As for the D, they held tight once again, only letting up ving, but I can't remember :o Either way, a very clean and fun rd1.

In the middle of rd2, someone on some team started some OvO, which as usual escalated, unfortunately. From what I could tell it was only between 1 or 2 guys, but it ended up affecting both O's equally and got rather annoying. I apologize for that, and i'm sorry, regardless of who started it. For the most part, a clean rd2 though.

Rd1 Offense: nf, rage, don chico, linkdead
Rd1 Defense: sponge, ken, berserker, daemon
Score: 100-10

An all around fun game, with the exception of bits and pieces of rd2 that have become all too much a factor in most matches these days. It's a shame :( Regardless, great group SIN is, and nice folks all around. GG guys, see you next time!
