nLv over BoA

Intense! This great day saw the battle between the twin titans of 4a (pause for snickering).

From the get-go both teams showed neither wanted to lose. Within what seemed like 2 minutes, people from both sides were upset about the pot shooting or extra defenders each side used. We're not sure who started it, but suffice it to say there was a lot of what might be called unsavory play by both teams. BoA split our 15 man defense first, capping first 10 minutes into the round. Oh no! Oh yes. nLv's O soon answered with a cap of its own. They were even lucky enough to get a relay. 2-1 nLv with about 15 to go. For the rest of the round both defenses (and offenses :x) held tight.

Before round2 started, there was some confusion as to whose server we were going to use (thank you steam). But it wasn't enough to stop the juggernauts from battling once more. This round featured a lot less pot shooting and turtling and what-have-you. It started a lot like the last round though: no significant movement by either side. Eventually, nLv's offense struck first, pulling out a cap. On d we thought we were on easy street. It was at this time that BoA's offense got a maddening amount of movement. I know that twice I alone got two very lucky stops (thank you spam!) to prevent some serious movement. Fortunately, we were able to tighten up and prevent any further serious threats. For the rest of the round we held tight enough, and our O threw in one more cap for good measure. This one ends 2-1 nLv as well.

All in all, a very intense two rounds o' TFC. With one notable exception, both clans acted maturely despite all the stuff that went on that elicits so much bitching and moaning in today's TFC. GG BoA, fun game, and sorry about some of the things that were said from some of our members. Won't happen again, I guarantee it ;)

gg BoA. Tough map for 9v9, against 6 D and OvO (though clearly that was going on on both sides) :D Still had a blast, and got a heavy does of that 400 ping for about 15 minutes of rd2. I'm guessing it was on my side ;( nLv also bids farewell to NF and elwood, who quit after the match for ... "reasons." :X gg's!

we had 5d, and 4d when you capped 2 in rnd1...I think you guys thought we had 6d because Nutty came to d when we realize our guy was frozen and lagged out. :) gg was one of the tougher matches!

like milos said, we only may have had 6d for a minute or so when grudge came back from his power outage - and lest you forget that you guys started running an extra d engy near the end of round2 when we started to get some movement :) gg nlv look forward to our next match.

not sure how long we played down a man in rnd 1. I realized Grudge dropped when you got your second cap. And we never played with 6 D. As soon as grudge got back Nutty went back to O. It was a great game, nice and close. We look forward to playing you in the future.

yeah, point taken about the D :) as for our extra engy at the end of rd2. I was O engy to start because you guys were sort of clustering around the flag and we figured a good EMP would do some good for us. I only built a gun with about 45 seconds left in rd2, and it went down pretty quickly :P gg indeed though
