Last night the report results page 404'd itself, so as I'm already late w/ the writeup I'll make it a quick one.

We played our buds over at redeye and I knew it was going to be one of those matches where you just have some good fun whatever happens.

Rd1
---
We started rd1 in nLv's server after a little mixup. Redeye only has 6 players at first. We decide to wait, as nLv's missed 3 matches in a row because of forfeits and the like. Eventually a 7th shows up and we decide to kick it. About 20 seconds into the round, their 7th drops and we play the next 5 minutes or so 6 vs. 9. Eventually their roster starts showing up again and we get a bit more of an even round.
Unfortunately the damage had been done and nLv took a hefty rd1 win.

Rd1 Offense: me, bewb, met, nomad

Rd2

After a rather long break we head into redeye's server. Thinking Redeye was still going to be short, 2-3 of our players decided they had better stuff to do and we told em to go ahead and do it. To our dismay, we struggle to bring 6 players into the server, only to find redeye with a full 9. After much coaxing, ken reluctantly joins and nLv has 7. Then out of nowhere comes berserker and bumps us to 8.
We get started with 3 O and 5 D and things are bit more even this round.
I start off as O engy and get a gun up in the FR. I build a dispenser as well. Apparently I forgot to rebind my detdispenser key, and had it set as detsentry. So in comes their flag runner. He passes my disp and I try to det it, and instead my SG goes boom. 1 cap courtesy of rage :)
Later on, I decide to stop the O engy because it's no fun and the D swears that if we let up any more caps it's because of me. I agree. So I hear on voice oh shit, here comes one.. they got another! I grab my medkit and make a b-line to the FR where I shotty their scout inches from the cap. I redeem myself and give myself a pat on the back.

I wish we could have done both rounds 9v9 and actually seen what a fair match against redey would have been, but alas... tfc is dying. :P

So, about halfway into rd2 I get tired of sucking it up on O and ask to play D instead. For some ungodly reason they make me HW and I demostrate my true lack of concaim. Meanwhile ken plays O and the rest of the D doesn't suck so bad :) Eventually some of us decide that shade sucks at everything, so to help him not suck so much, 2 more of us go demo with about 2 minutes remaining.

I'm sad to say that redeye scored a shitload of caps on me and I single-handedly almost cost us rd2 :X Was a good, clean game though, and I had mucho fun.

rd2 Score: 131-109 nLv!

So, apparently this isn't a short writeup after all. c'est la vie. was a gg redeye, hopefully we can do a real 9v9 next time. especially on enclave, which I <3 to no end.

Final Score: 269-137 nLv!
