nLv over tR

No time tonight for my usual writeup, unfortunately, but I'll try to get all the details in.

After a little password confusion before rd1, we headed into tR's not-too-shabby server.

Round 1
-------
This commemorates nLv's first rd1 in the last month or so with a full 9 on it's team! HOORAY! We get started with a pretty standard security_r offense and defense and come up with an early lead of 2-0. About midway through the round, tR picks up the pace and wrangles in 2 of their own, but we quickly follow with another to make the score 3-2. Much spam is taken by the tR offense, exiting out their back door ... my apologies ... my MIRVs know no bounds :) Not having played security in quite a long time, we did pretty well holding our own against the "newcomers," in tR, who also did a great job of keeping things intense.

Rd1 Offense: me, metallix, wl, funk
Rd1 Defense: sponge, don, whore, sub, sin
Rd1 Score: 3-2 nLv!

Round 2

We head into nLv's server where pings have once again returned to their sexy norms (unlike last thursday). Our O stays the same except Sid comes in for Metallix, while whore and sponge switch spots on D. I'm once again stuck with the boring O demo spot and see the flag room only once in the entire match :[

This round, tR could only find 8 players (sadly, we know all too well just how that feels). Despite the 8 players, they hold us to only 2 caps for the majority of the round, but with only 3 Offense, they can't do much to pull in any of their own. The 8 players then becomes 7 once "tree" says "i'm lagging" and quits (or lags out? ... who knows). Not too much later, they drop to 6.

For whatever reasons, be it lag (though I dont' think anyone else seemed to be getting it) or be it frustration, hopefully you guys get your roster issues figured out. We know it's no fun, so good luck :D
Highlights: don gets 2 wrenchings, while tree tries to infect me to death while i set a detpack, only to be killed in my suicide bombing... the detpack never set :[ Rd2 also featured 5 craterings by yours truly in my (failed) efforts to pipe jump to the generator ;[
