Wow.. After what I believe to be the closest match in history last week we got to face up with RES again, and it started out just as expected. Both teams held for 5 points like RIGHT out the gate. Then it slowed down for a little while with offenses workin away and defenses holding strong. It felt like our O had quite a few more touches in the first round, but RES was able to hold one for 5 at the very end of the round to get the lead 20-15.
Round 2, things started pretty even and RES had a unique lineup with some engi, demo, soldier action going on. I think that was working for a bit but we were able to hold our own defensively and earned the team 10 points.
Offensively, our guys transformed.. Lots of touches, apparently all within 5 minutes of the previous touch because we were able to keep a no-cap/no-hold round and finish it off at 35-5.
GG RES, ty again for the sportsmanship of last week in allowing the rematch to happen.
