TFCC over IGC
Well we weren't suppose to win this one. We haven't beat IGC and it's always been a classy fun game with these guys. Well with the special ban, all of us had to get rid of our hax, and play on TFCC's server etab runnin' server rd1:
It starts, and one of the IGC members didn't get the ETAB message. REPEATEDLY, he's kicked for _special. Finally 1/2 way through the match he gets the point, and we are full 9v9 during this time. Action is fast and furious, and TFCC has a nice strat for this map, works real well for us. Defense let's out one cap on a really nice conc at the top ele shaft above the flagroom by the IGC offense. TFCC offense is having their way with the IGC defense and brings home 10 of those purty cloth things for us. 100-10 TFCC
Rd2: Off to the IGC server for one last hurrah with special. No ETAB, we all load our haxor _special scripts and away we go. Now we've been practicing w/o the special here this last week, and I think rd2 it made a difference. People are just harder to hit with the special imho. I use it, but I swore it was more difficult. Well back to the carpal tunnel. Some ugly potshotting during the last 15 minutes as IGC could only muster 8 during the final round. They were good sports and ran 5D/3O primarily with an occasional swing guy. Had a spy get pillolitious crazy and spam the respawn a little, and take out his frustrations on the offense, but in the end did apologize and we were able to calm KK's fur, as it had definitely been ruffled by these guys. We in no means initiated it, and IGC offered apologies immediately in IRC for the behavior. Kudos to them, and hope we won't need to go through that again. 80-20 TFCC
