LOL it was gay too!!! I was doing a huge write up and someone already sent in the info!!! Anyways, it was a great match. I'll give a write up right now.
RD1: GoW gets a strat down with 10 minutes left until match. We didnt have a chance to practice it, but I trusted DMW's judgement. I'm a FOOL!!! DMW DONT KNOW SHIT ;) Nah, I just suck as a D leader. Anyways, our d breaks down like Darklight after one beer. They cap on us at will. Our O did a valiant job keeping up. We are damn lucky to have lost only by 1 cap. Bless you offense.
15 min break: A ton of bitch persued the first round. Everyone screaming about how the strat sucked with no idea how to fix it. The O was a tad whiney about not being able to conc in fxp's server. So we switched out a few people on D and kept the lame strat. Our hopes relied on the fact that our O pinged better in our server.
Rd2: Our D folds once more as they rape us back and forth. Our O was doing great also. We were up 6-5 with our flag at our door steps when the Server had a great fall. 30 - 45 second nothingness, then like the phoenix it kicked back on like it never missed a beat. Our flag returned about exactly when it kicked back on. Of course fxp was rightfully pissed about that. So we played on and ended the round 9-6. Great job O on the capping!!!
Ok, so now I venture to the admins to check out the legality of that match. VanD told me from the exact estimated time I gave you guys that he'd probably let the round slide giving us the win. I didnt tell my team this because well I just felt wrong about it. So i told him, we should have some type of OT. We decided on a 10 minute overtime.
OT: This time I decided to change the strat for one that worked darn well. Pretty much it called for the sexy excal to stand on the flag. The round started and this time they didnt fly away with the flag like usual. We held it pretty well letting out only one cap, while our determined O pulled out two. GG TO ALL!!!
