3Q over DvS
It's 3Q versus DvS for the title match in the coveted 3a division!! I'll start by saying that this is the first ever TFL title for Clan Equilibrium - awesome job to both offense and defense. We had a serious practice on this last night and worked on various D strats to try to keep our O from raping our asses. Anyways we get to about 30 minutes before the match and we're still working on our shit - finally skull suggests fatty/eng in the fr and we seem to slow down our O.. finally
Round 1 - DvS and 3Q all pile into our Texas server right on time and we get right down to biz. DvS gets a touch first while our D is still setting up. Our O vent channel was abuzz with cussin' out our D for the quick touch (hee hee). Meanwhile our O quickly followed with a touch. A few flag touches later and our O brings home the prize. Our O keeps chippin' away at the DvS D and keeps finding ways to get touches and movement. Turns out DvS was running the same D that we tried and got owned at in practice. Our D plays pretty well and gets several returns. Round ends 3Q up 80-30
Round 2 - for the longest time no one is getting any real movement on the flag. Both defenses are playing very tough and the offenses are getting owned. About half way through the round our O snags a very nice cap to put us up 10-0. Then the trash talk started and the OvO began and it all became quite animated for a while - booyah, fun stuff. The carnage for both offense continues for the entire round with the 3Q D getting the shutout.
