SIN over 3Q

Prodigal_r sucks. That said, we were scheduled for a Title Shot match against 3Q tonight. Skull, being a former SINner, was up for the potential Crowbar a Former SINner award. Anyone to get a crowbar kill on Skull would've earned a free dinner at the next VanLan. Unfortunately, Skull decided to run defense and Akira (our crowbar king) wasn't able to play tonight.

So, round 1 kicked off on our server. Mav-Hosting came through with another good night on the server end of things. I think the mp_timelimit was set to about 60 minutes because round 1 seemed to take FOREVER. Our offense got a few touches and brought home a handful of caps. 3Q's offense had a tough time with Cal playing a roaming engy up front which led to a shutout on the defensive end. The highlight of this round was when one of 3Q's scouts dropped down the hole and died from a pipe that autodet from sitting too long. Round 1 ended with SIN in the lead.

Round 2 moved over to the Texas Red Cell server where most of the SINners faced higher pings. We lost Bottle to the internet (/taps) and put in another sub. The beginning of the round was pretty fast paced with 3Q sending a couple spies on O. They brought the flag to the flagroom door once or twice, but couldn't inch it forward from there. Our offense couldn't find a groove, but managed to bring one more in to add to the final score.

Good game 3Q. From what I heard there was a little potshotting from both sides, but overall it was a clean game.
