Rd1 we did really well. Their D held together pretty well for little strings of rd1, but in the end our D was able to really seal things off. I started HW but then ken switched with me so I could O... I probably did more good as HW.
We were so short tonight that we had to pull like 4 guys out of retirement to play for us, after not playing for like 3 or 4 months. Somehow we won rd1...
Rd1 Score: 76-30 nLv
Rd2 we subbed in a million people. Strangely, we did a lot worse... well, not really on O, but definitely on D. Ken wandered around like a turkey instead of staying in the water and cost us like 200 caps. In the end, mcccxxxvii switched their D strat to ours, and held their flag pretty still for the last 10 minutes or so.
They came so close to a tie, and even a win, that in the last couple of minutes we had to drop an extra guy to D to try to hang onto it. Even still, their O managed to get 1 out during those last few minutes. Mostly because of ken.
Everyone but myself and ken is player of the game tonight (but especially not ken).

Aside from some really ugly OvO in the first half of rd1, it was a good clean game. Psi and Ken shared bedtime stories in rd1, bored at the HW spot. and we came inches from losing this one in rd2... nice comeback.
