AGT over gt

Wow, just wow, what a crazy ending to a great match.

Round 1 we pile into the gt. server and away we go. We had decided against using a front door fatty and it seemed to work well as we held them to 2 caps thru 28 mins. Then I made a tactical error and had Skate switch to demo, which costed us the pulled cap and a relay cap as Skate couldn't get back in position in time. The offense was doing very well getting a cap every so often, and was a little miffed at us for blowing our 3-cap lead down to a single cap at the end of the round. I was oging to apologize and then I remembered how mkany times our D has bailed out the offense and instead told them to go fuck themselves.

Round1: AGT - 50 gt. - 40

Round 2 we pile into the AGT server which seemed to giving them some ping troubles in prematch, but my ping was 35 points lower so I was a happy camper. Turned out the ping didn't matter a bit as gt. just JUMPED all over us to open the match, grabbing 2 caps and the overall lead about 3 mins into the round. Our offense answered back and actually gave us the overall lead again and that became the pattern for the rest of the round. We'd go up a cap, they'd tie it overall again, back and forth until it was 9-9 with about 2 mins left in the round. We let another one out as the gt. O did an outstanding job on getting the flag into the pit and away from the gun making me re-build all over the damn base. They capped it with about 45 secs left, just as we heard our offense touch their flag again and die almost immediately, so we're already talking about how to mix things up for overtime. At the 30 sec mark we get another touch and this time about 6 secs pass before he dies. A!
lmost immediately we grab the flag again and in the mix of yelling and explosions I can't tell if he dropped the flag or not, until I hear someone yelling "we got it!" as we capped with about 8 seconds left to tie the tournd up and win the Bronze title by a single cap.
Round2: AGT - 100 gt. - 100

From everyone at AGT we just wanted to give the gt. guys props because they never stopped coming. Their offense was quite literally all over the damn place round 2 and had us complete overwhelmed, something that rarely happens to a clan like us who pride ourselves on our defense. Vgg to them and good luck next week guys, I'm sure you won't need it.

It's been 5 1/2 years since we won the Bronze title the first time when we crushed a little known clan known as |KoD| , it's nice to have it again so from all of us 'sandbaggers' at AGT gg to the clans we've played in our return. I heard it from 4 different people tonight, "matches like this are why I still play tfc". Oh and for Jarek - ninjas and pirates.........
