Loyally carrying their man into a....
Untimely demise
Chivalric victory
Vicious war cries from scores of men,
Charging eachother in a rush of clear minded rage,
In their eyes they are prepared to kill,
In their hearts they are prepared to die,
With a clash beckoning,
Unto the furthest reaches of the world,
Two sides of conflicting nations collide,
In an uproar of screaming and striking metal,
Chaotic open surface of war and turmoil,
Reflections of sun between streaks of fresh blood,
Clashing of metal shafts against their forged kin,
Fine cloths flying above waves of dust,
Hanging only by a staff held by one man so strong,
So strong to fight and show his love for his land,
Only to eventually take a sword to his side,
And as he watches his own blood flow,
He swings with all his strength,
Down torwards the same who pierced his side,
And strikes him down in his tracks of defeat,
And in return a stray arrow finds it's way through his heart,
He falls back off his horse as his eyes raise to the sky,
And he sees his glorious flag falling with him,
So valiantly and proudly falling down in the bright sun,
A beautiful disaster, an honorable death. -NR
