Rabid over pirateships
i have always stood firm that pirates > ninjas > all, so i was a bit worried tonight to play pirateships. each ship must have like..a few dozen pirates, so that must mean something.
round one: (O: gr8shot, defjux, carbon, kevin) (D: vile, rabidpanda, fong, slipknotkills, erl)
we pile into their west coast server where i ping 120 but i refuse to sit lol. our offense starts off a bit slow but manages to start getting touches at regular intervals and soon bring home a cap 6 minutes in. looks like it was going to be a close game. we get a couple more caps while our defense only allows the pirate whatevers to 9 touches. round ends 5-0 rabid.
round two: (O: gr8shot/action, defjux, carbon, kefka) (D: steelpython, kevin, fong, slipknotkills, erl)
we start panicking because our demo decided to disappear but we pieced together some form of defense and the game was live. right out of the gates we started to cap every few minutes and we soon learned that all pirates have attention deficit disorder and they decide to blow their holds and abandon ship. to be honest, this round was more what i would normally expect out of pirates, which is a basic disregard for everything. our offense starts a bonfire in front of their flag and start roasting marshmallows, periodically sending one guy back to our base to get more beer after being tk'ed by fong. round ends 26-5 for guess who.
