AGT over gt
A real nail-biter with gt tonight. zquark asked me to use a ringer as they were a bit short today and I said no problem, only a bunch of uptight jackasses would be anal retentive as to prefer to play 9v8 than to do the honorable thing. /me looks in THOA's general direction................ =)
Round 1 our offense did a good job of grinding away until they finally broke thru the multiple sgs down at the same time and grabbed 4 caps over the last 12 mins or so. Our defense was very static, setting up wherever the hell the gt O managed to drop the flag, but we rotated well enough to keep the flag at least in the shoop area and got them all to eventually return. So with the shutout, we take a comfortable 40-0 lead into round 2.
Round 2 kt woke up and wanted to play so we subbed him and Ricky in and I took myself out so that Unabomber could play. BIG MISTAKE.
kt spent the whole round trying to O demo........let's call it unsuccessfully. In the flagroom, Una would get a gun up and stubbornly refuse to give gt the satisfaction of moving it. Both things contributing to a clusterfuck in our flagroom and gt getting within a single cap of taking the match to OT.
Vgg with gt tonight as we finally get back to .500 against them. GG and gl next week guys, I'm sure we'll see you again soon.

there's a difference between using a ringer in 9v9 and asking to use 3 ringers in an 8v8, we offered to scrim GoW with whatever pickup team they had, but they didn't care to play unless it was official. they were more pathetic than we were, get off our nuts...

Unless you don't believe they really play for that team, or that they just joined and our now starting to play for that team, no I don't see any difference.
Being anal retentive for the sake of being anal retentive is what it is, and your new clan is notorious for it mexi. Haven't you read their posts on the Cats, they flat out say they will not allow non-rostered players period, so to say it was because of the amount is ridiculous. If you don't like people pointing it out then get the leadership to stop being such pricks about the details and get back to playing the damn game, get a thick-skin, or get a new team because THOA (as they will gladly tell you) has and will always be that way.

I'm glad THOA is popular now because GoW cried. Shady, you don't know anything about THOA, you just think you are god's gift to TFC. THOA HAS AND WILL ALLOW A RINGER -depending on who it is of course as any clan would check. Notice the word 'A' in there. Allowing THREE ringers in an 8v8 match, almost half a clan of ringers, is not something we were willing to do and not something any other clan would be willing to do, and if you say you would allow it, you are blatently lying. So just shut the fuck up about it already.

Ricky's post clearly shows GoW not letting us use a ringer or drop a man to make it 8v8. What goes around comes around.

Still, THOA != p$u. I don't know what happened with THOA and GoW as I wasn't there, but 3 fucking ringers on an 8v8 map is laughable. We have allowed teams to use a ringer or newly added player before, but it's only been clans we got along with or have some semblance of decency. Maybe if it was only one, but GoW is a bunch of cumguzzling assholes so who knows.
