Last time we faced these guys they took it to us by a whole 1 cap. However, to quote the title of a great book.
That was then, this is now
Tonight featured 459's Defensive lineup of Stayne, Kerpal, AZero, KK, and the almighty 4est-[e9]-4|4. We decided to go with the standard 3 engi strat while iS decided to go ahead with only 2 engi's. This might have worked against a lesser offense, but oh no, there was no lesser offense with 459 tonight. Fortunato, Kor, Abs, and Tercel all showed up to increase 459's gigantic winstreak to an unprecedented 2.
r1. SoulCutter got a double airshot on Fortunato I guess. It dramatically impacted the match outcome because instead of capping 11 times, we only capped 10. Meanwhile our D was busy holding it down only letting 3 slip through. It probably would have been more, but Fusion was on Offense. Round ends, 10-3 -459 winning. Absolute has 114 kills. YES KILLS. NO CAPS.
In between rounds I talk to some guys in copper ventrilo and they all think we are the most amazing thing since sliced bread.
r2. Same as before really, D lets more go, but O keeps the pressure on and its pretty much cap for cap, al beit slowly, until about 7 minutes left in the round where we pull out 3 relatively quickly. iS ended up only scoring 5 as opposed to our 8. Round over. Absolute has 100 kills. YES KILLS. NO CAPS.
GG iS, it was too bad sani and mulisha weren't here tonight I love those guys. Also I love SoulCutter.
