Writeup:
K}{R over ViBig
K}{R has played ViBiG six times. We have played TiTz seven times. Never have we had a match like this. First off, they were late; at match time, they had four players, so we gave them another half hour to find people. They did, and eventually came into our intraclan push match and we got started.
Round 1:
We ran Tripwire, ChewMaster, DragonSmacker, and McVries on defense, with Linkdead, River, Sun-Guardian and myself on offense. I suspect most of the ViBiG players hadn't practiced the map, because we went through them like a knife through butter. In the interests of not seeming like douchebags, we decided that we would slow down on O once we had ten caps. So we did--we went to four spies. However, apparently Necron99 took offense to this and began to pipe and MIRV our spawn. An O spy also pilled it.
To me, this is unnecessary. If you're down, you can play it out or not; you can switch O and D, or anything of that sort. However, it is not acceptable to play like a 1999 2fort pubber. We're past that, or we should be. Heck, I know I've lost enough games to say that sometimes it can feel really bad to be severely down---but I've never once spammed a respawn in nine years of playing QWTF, Q3F, and TFC.
I don't know what's going on over there, but Earl, please clean house.
Other than that, it was a good game.
Yam.
Final score: 16-1, K}{R
