nLv over FOoM
I've got a paper to start writing so this is gonna be brief. I rushed home and found that we amazingly had 9 players. I saw that berserker was playing Offense so offered to take his spot, and then lived with the guilt of benching him for the rest of the night, when he agreed :(
I think the round was only a few minutes underway but basically once everyone saw that I came in, they were like... all aboard the rage train! And together we ran a train, with me as the conductor (in a strictly homosexual sense).
In the meantime we also played some TFC. We had a lot of flag movement, which usually only slowed down when we tried to conc a dropped flag out of the pit instead of take it out the long way.
FOoM was getting movement but nothign was coming home for them and amidst a barrage of spam, nLv came out on top 80-20 in rd1.
In rd2 we headed into FOoM's server, swapping agile out for ber on the engy spot. There's about 5-10 minutes of rd1 that's a complete stale mate with both teams doing some nice holding. FOoM gets the first cap I think, but nLv follows up with one of our own.
We get a quick spurt of movement to gain the lead, and the remainder of the round is just very very slow movement out of the flag room to the capture point. FOoM's Demo and Engy do a lot more damage in this round than they did in rd1, and on multiple occasions saved us from really running away with this round.
sponge goes sniper because "his ping sucks" (that makes sense) and snipes their defense to the best of his HPB abilities. I hear he gets OvO'd, but what do you expect... llama.
rd2 is a bit less giving, cap-wise, but still pretty intense.
Rd2 score: 40-20 nLv!
