NV over |RES|

I must admit, I was a bit bummed out today. I had to sit through a bunch of classes and stuff. I found out I have a ton of stuff I have to do, so I was thinking that it would probably be a good idea to NOT play tfc tonight?oh and we are playing RES. I knew I was going to suck anyway.



I join irc like 10 minutes after it starts. People are freaking out that I?m not there or something. Syphon was pissin in his pants and collision was trying to wipe it all up. Stridex told me it was a sight to see?.I don?t know what the big deal was.



Round 1 starts and I can?t hit anything. I?m not use to people being able to conc well on schtop. So I pretty much let everyone in, but we ended up getting the first cap. Caps go back and forth with us usually up by 1. Somehow RES got a relay and the score was tied. Syphon ?winsitfornv.dem? pulled out another cap with minutes to spare to put us up by 1.



We go to irc and I tell my team it?s all their fault for making me play, but our O did well so we got a chance. Syphon starts getting serious talking about strats and stuff. I told simplicit to play fd cause I can?t. What can I say?up to this point stuff is kind of boring and I don?t have any creative ways of writing about how much we owned RES even though we really didn?t rd1.



Anyway, rd1 starts and simplicit does his thing at FD. RES takes a minute or two to get the button. We got the first cap, and another?eventually we are up by like 4. It?s looking like it?s in the bag, so we stop playing. Collision and stridex start trying to catch the flag in the middle of the yard, while Syphon is hanging out at the lasers wondering what the hell is going on. I really don?t know where Hype was. I think he accidently fell into their water and RES took him hostage. We asked them nicely to return him to our team, but they said, ?no you want take our nukes, you wankers.? Hype left the server (they must of beheaded him) and we were down a player.



After the match RES apparently thought Hype was looking a bit fishy in the water, so they requested that he give them his demo. Being the nice and benevolent players we are, we basically said, ?if we asked for arod?s demo you would give us shit...go tell D to not practice before their match Monday because it doesn?t help at all.? Yeah, it was something like that.



Back to the match, RES starts capping and the score is getting close. Deathwish starts giving his inspirational chant in-game, and everyone starts telling him to stfu. 2 minutes later, we cap?enough said. Eventually we have a good lead and there?s about 5 minutes left. I tap andy on his back to tell him to look at his incredible score. He turned to me in in fear with sweat running down his face?he knew what this all would mean?he was going to get disputed for the second match in a row. I sympathetically put my hand on his back and told him no matter what RES says, I?m still your friend, BFF.



So the match was over and the nerds rejoiced. NV had won, and the not so almighty RES had lost. Andy was awarded the ?girlfriend sucking deathwish?s dick? plaque for his outstanding performance rd2. Deathwish also won an award. He received the ?scarce pack of skoal tobacco? for his superb performance rd1.
