Writeup:

nLv over IGC

Short writeup for an excellent match.

We are struggling to find players before match time. We put a couple players in positions that they really don't play, but we make do with what we have.

ber returns to us to play O since agile hogs the engy spot like a fat hog-like animal.

We don't do a very good job of keeping the zers down, and subsequently, IGC gets a lot of holds on flags that we move out of the FR. I think we had the lead for most of the round, but IGC ended up on top.

Rd2 ber switches to engy and carb comes in on Offense. Carb came back from the bar, and we said don't bother coming in carb, rd1's started; you're 25 minutes late. He says ok... and then comes in anyways.

But our O picks up the pace and we manage to get more movement this time around, and our D does some niceness too. But IGC comes very close to taking the win, so we have to drop to 5 D to hold our last flag at the front door.

Meanwhile IGC sends a scout back to the FR. With about 25 seconds left, our flag returns from the FD, their scout grabs it, and almost makes it out with it. But we stop him and secure the tie for overtime.

In overtime, it was basically Carbon vs. IGC. He got the button, the flag, and was out to the ramp by the time I'd made it through the water. We worked on the lasers and moved it out slowly, while our D closed up nice and tight mmmmm.

We pull out the OT win in only a couple minutes.

Rd1: 30-40 IGC
Rd2: 40-30 nLv
OT: 10-0 nLv
Final: 80-70 nLv

Was an awesome game
