So the other day I woke up at like 5:45, did some stuff, sat in my car for 30 minutes on the highway, walked half a mile and up eight flight of stairs to my work computer. I started my work day like any normal person would? I checked out the catacombs and konspiracy. I noticed that our TFL prediction was up. I already knew who we were playing and what the eventual outcome was going to be, but I wanted to see if anything interesting was said ? which there usually isn?t. Nevertheless, for shit and giggles I decided I?d place a bet. I really could care less about this vcash thing, but what the hell, we were going to kill our mccxvviiwhatevertheirstupidtagis. So, I went for the over?so I thought. Apparently I did exactly the opposite. I betted on the leet ones to beat NV by over 40 or so points. I?m a retard.
However?when I joined irc and asked to sit, cause I knew I was going to have to play hw long hall, they say, ?no, you play!? So I said, fuck that, I?m going to get my vcash back. Unfortunately, it didn?t matter how bad I played, they just couldn?t get to the flag (probably cause no one goes long hall).
So, syphon decides not to show up, but mini me syphon was there (collision). So, he basically called the shots and yelled at people. Realizing how boring it was going to be, Cidem decided to give incomings through his blackberry. His service dropped out mid-round but it didn?t matter. So basically our offense capped a lot, although it did struggle without the great syphon playing. 70-0.
IRC?nothing happens. Everyone wants to sit. Mcccxxxvviiiwhatever doesn?t want to play either, but then they say they do. I tell my clan just to forfeit, because who cares about winning, except syphon.
So my vcash is gone, and now I have to play rd2 again. What the hell is this? When will the torture end? What the hell are these people saying on vent? Decap and cidem are talking some kind of different language, I can?t hear anything stridex is says, deathwish is just loud, what is this music? Nsyc? Yup, it was. Oh, now backsheet boys?awesome?
So rd2 starts and we actually decide to play for real, for like 2 minutes. Then cidem started singing backsheet boys music and we knew it was going down hide from there. We got a cap, but for some reason we didn?t get another? Half way through cidem went O. I was calling for an O tele the entire round, since we already had 2 engs, I decided to go eng as well. Cidem began dicking around in our base, shooting us and stuff and somehow mcccxxxvvviiiiwhatever got our flag down the spiral and to the rr. We knew we couldn?t let them get a single cap. So, like any normal tfl clan, we all went D. Our flag returned, the nerds rejoiced, we went back to irc and saw syphon coming on irc. Maybe some of my ?I don?t want to play? rubbed off.
