SIN over 3Q
To whom it may concern,
Clan -SIN- has stayed its tongue out of respect for those that shall go unnamed in this letter. But with such rampant injustices by those in power at TFL, we can remain silent no longer. Rage...rage against the dying of the light.
When a map is scheduled to be played, it constitutes a binding contract between the two clans, TFL, the TFC community and God himself. We understand and appreciate that under certain circumstances a map change is necessary, or that it is necessary to change the manner in which the map is played (i.e. changing it from 9v9 to 8v8). But this is not one of those circumstances. There was not a problem with the version of the map and the change was not made with time to give clans that practice on days other thursday a chance to prepare.
Friends and competitors, I argue that it is conconscionable and irresponsible for TFL to make a change as such two hours before a match is to be played. It is nothing more than an abuse of power, a flouting of the theory of contracts, an affront to the two clans playing in the match, and a slight on our Lord God.
What should have been done you ask? When TFL has decided in the past to change the manner in which a map is played, it usually did so for the following week, and left it to a gentleman's agreement between the two clans for the current week as to the maximum number of players. Such an action by those in power is nothing more than imposing itself on the community for the sake of imposing itself.
I write this to ask TFL to reconsider the dangerous path down which it is heading. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
solemnly,
Econ

We apologize that the match started late. Ironically, we took our extra 15 minutes waiting for a 9th to show up.
