Forgot to submit this... oops.
I always dread monkey_l, but luckily tonight I coaxed people to play O so I could play engy.
About 2 minutes in, equinox said "This is going to be neck and neck the whole time" ... and indeed it was. About 3/4 of the way through, our D went on lockdown and didn't let up anything.
Our O was struggling for the first half but really picked up the pace in the 2nd half and brought us out ahead.
Rd2 we ran more or less the same thing making just a sub or two, despite having like 15 people here in rd1. Our O has a steady flow the whole time. K}{R seems like they did better this round, but end up with 1 less cap.
We see O demos, O engies, spies, medics, lions, tigers and bears in rd2. SG goes down quite a bit more and there's a good deal of destruction, but not a ton of movement in the end.
There are some complaints about excessive OvO in IRC after rd1, given that it's an 8v8 map. From my understanding it happened on both sides... and from a quick glance, K}{R's O killed more of our O than ours killed theirs, but I didn't really count.
MrBill tried to rub it in after the match, which is a little uncharacteristic, considering the good relations we've had for a long time.
Calling us dirtier than inferno was a nice touch though... suck it up.

If you ask me it makes you a lot worse. The other clans have the cajones to back up their crying... the way you do it, it just comes off as desperate and baseless.
I personally don't think it was as dirty as the K}{R doomsday scenario made it seem, but I don't really know firsthand... I was on Defense, enjoying my dispenser kills.
Other than the little tiff after the match, it was a good, clean, fun game, as we usually have with K}{R. No hard feelings folks, just a little funny that you hyped it up so much for the sake of hyping it up...
