pokeclan was a joke clan, we just wanted to trick newbie clans into thinking we'd be a pushover, being named after pokemon and all,and then utterly destroy them. looking at gsc's history before we challenged them, i noticed they had a tendancy to make it a point to pick maps that no one ever played to try to get a sort of "home field advantage". we were very short on players this day, and i went to some irc channels asking old friends of mine to play so we could at least field 8. we beat them on openfire but lost on well, so the tie breaker map was going to be shutdown2. the large majority of my players did not have the map and had never seen it. so after stalling them while our players downloaded it, it became obvious we werent going to win because half of our players were simply lost and gsc's tactic of pure spam seemed to be winning (part of the reason i quit tfc btw, spamming is too effective of a tactic, but i digress), so we decided to gay them, and i ordered serveral of my teammates to switch teams and commence team killing, while the rest of us ran around spamming spy gas. when gsc decided to leave the server to avoid our lameness, we spammed in mm1 that "IF YOU LEAVE YOU FORFEIT". anyway, this match was technically a forfeit win for them, and we were suspended for 2 weeks. at the end of the 2 weeks we simply didnt have the interest to bother playing tfc anymore. plus we would have been banned from the league if we got another complaint (which we knew we would get more of). so i simply didnt visit the ogl site anymore. and it just kinda went away.
the point of my comments here, is that gsc only submitted this win to boost their stats or because they hate us or something. it's not even a real win it's a forfeit win.
