TDA over Rogue Element in TFL Tourney, March 29,2001, on Vidars
Round 1: Rogue Element - Al's house of gibs (we played both rounds on -|RE|-'s server because [TDA]Grounds of Judgement was acting more like Grounds of Packet Loss)
This round started off fast and furio....oh wait...im so used to writing that line... It actually started a bit sedatly, not a big rush due to the fact that the flag does not make an appearance for a little bit... I telefragged, and still make it into -|RE|-'s flag room before the DING! "THE ENEMY/YOUR FLAG HAS RETURNED!" Now I was a bit worried due to the fact that our defense stole one of my best O players to defend (just you wait defense! I will reclaim [TDA]Pigeons!) however, he did a great job...and so did the rest of the D...so I guess I can't complain...too much... I should not have been worried though, because we had our good luck Canadian with us ([TDA]AC/DC)... -|RE|- countered with a secret weapon of their own...-|RE|-AL B Sure...he wasted us...over...and...over...and...over... We threw ourselves onto the enemy flag many times, and eventually managed to bring it back home...

For the second round writup...I decided to do something a bit more interesting... I've been taking Spanish in College for a year now...and I've become familiar with the wonderful little program called "babel fish" - and its great ability to turn a regular english sentance...into an almost recognizable spanish sentance... I have wondered for a while what would happen if i took one sentance...and sent it thru the fish many times...but I have never been quite bored enough to do it manually...fortunatly i have found a wonderful site called "lost in translation" (www.tashian.com/multibabel/) that does the work for me...
