With very little preparation on this map and some roster problems, we kinda expected our first experience on Mortality_l to be a tough one. At first we weren?t looking forward to going against such in tough clan in |RES| (currently #2 in the division) but I personally knew it would be a good match since RES is known for good clean play.
Round 1
RES had some serious server issues and after 2 restarts and 2 server crashes we all decided to give up on the RES server and headed over to /tmp's Smell My Finger to play both rounds. Once everyone piled on, we started up what proved to be a very well played round. RES defense had a pretty good strat that limited /tmp's Offense to just a handful of touches. At the same time /tmp Defense tried numerous things to keep those pesky RES medics outta our flagroom. The round ends with a respectable showing for /tmp, only giving up 5 caps.

Round 2
This round the /tmp D finally figured out how we wanted to defend against RES (truth be known...we stole RES's D strat). Everybody on D was breathing a little easier and we obviously were making it tougher for the RES offense. Offensively /tmp was still having a tough time getting to the RES flag. The round ended with a very frustrated and disorganized /tmp offense. All I can say is, both O and D learned some valuable things in this match.
