Oppose2k1 proves to be a Complexity
/tmp welcomed a new clan into STA Monday and we decided to be the nice guys and let them win their first ever clan match. Seriously, even though Complexity is a "new" clan they have some very good and experienced players on their team. Their offense was awesome and constantly keep the pressure on us while their defense did their job and kept us from getting too close to their flag.
Round 1
/tmp hosted round 1 on Smell My Finger and our server provided us with a ping advantage. cO managed the first series of touches but /tmp was able to drag the first flag out after what seemed like about 10 mins of solid defense by both sides. cO started to really get it going and managed the next 2 caps before /tmp was able to get another. cO started to pull their third when I locked up and had to reboot, luckily I was able to call in Axiom to finish the last 10 mins of the round for me. Unfortunately, cO managed to get that flag out and 1 more before the gibs settled. We managed to get one near the end as well though in a hard fought round 1.

Round 2
Complexity's turn to host this time and we got to play musical crashing servers for the next 20 minutes. Everybody was in pretty good spirits about the whole thing and when the demons were finally exorcized from the server we were up and running. This time they had the clear ping advantage and proceeded to kick some tushy. We made a few personnel changes like we usually do. Ghroth and Larcain joined the forces of offense and Axiom made it in for the defense. I was drooling over Axiom's sub-80 ping and insisted that he trade positions for me since I was struggling with a 180 ping. cO started with a scout rush this time and got a quick cap. They got a second when Axiom cried like the woman he is and wanted his old spot back. That was fine by me anyways cause I was lost half the time guarding the spiral area. /tmp offense struggled a bit getting thru cO's formidable defense. Not to be shutout, our offense managed to snag a couple of caps using an O engie with some success. cO's offense was just too good to stop this round though.
