404 over PF
We challenged PF to 8v8 2fort this week, avoiding that other map again.. HLTV for both rounds was provided by PB(yay) PF's offense started off quick with a number of touches, bringing home a few(fu boob) while our D took some back with nice returns. The 404 O(\/\/estsiiide) started slow but in the latter 2/3rds of the game steadily pulled out the cloth for the good guys. Back on D, PF continued to move our flag, but couldn't keep the drive alive when it got to the spiral. Round ends, 404 up 6-3. GoM Round 2 - PF's East coast server(haggis approved) This round, PF sported real low pings and we were a bit worried(gg 20 ping boob). In prematch, Boob made what would turn out to be an illfated challenge. If PF wins, Dos uses a trackball the next time we meet, and if 404 wins, Boob uses a mouse. Up 3 caps, it didn't seem like a bad deal. The gates dropped and PF came out gunning, pulling in 3 or 4 caps early, a few relays. D was rough and PF had a 2 cap lead, with both teams moving flags out when what would become the defining act of round two transpired. Somehow as Boob went to cap PF's 6th flag, he managed to toss it into the seem above the CP bunker, rendering it uncappable and demoralizing PF's previous offensive rallying. Sources close to Boob speculate it may have been his pointing device of choice, the trackball, to blame. Sources close to Vega refused comment, spellbound by what can only be imagined here in print as quite a display of verbal putrescence. :o Back to the game, PF grabbed another cap while the 404 O got down to business and Rev decided we needed more points on the board.
